3CX now Telepermited to use on Telecom SIP
We are pleased to announce that Telecom has given 3CX a telepermit for connecting to the Telecom SIP service – another tick for 3CX as being a solution fit for the corporate world. A specific setup guide is available from Soft Solutions; please email 3cx if you need a copy of this.
Grandstream UCM6102 Telepermitted for New Zealand
We have also been working with Telecom to get the Grandstream UCM IP-PBX telepermitted for fixed lines. Designed for smaller business whose needs are best met with a low-cost appliance, the UCM6102 is a standalone Asterisk Open Source IP PBX appliance that supports up to 300 users, 500 extensions and up to 30 concurrent calls. It supports SIP trunks, and includes two analogue FXS ports (with lifeline capability in case of power outages). The units ship with free lifetime firmware updates, and can provision with all Grandstream phones and cameras natively. 3CX v12 SP4 Released
Service Pack 4 for 3CX Phone System 12 has now been released. The service pack is available for download directly from the 3CX Phone System Management Console. SP4 offers a number of updates, including: improvements in the Queue feature for Windows, and in the Presence information and call history for MacOS. Grandstream GXP-2140 and GXP-2160 gaining momentum
Over a month since its release in New Zealand, the Grandstream GXP-2140’s and GXP-2160’s are getting some very favourable reviews from our channel. We have had comments including “amazing features for the price” and “simple integration with my Bluetooth headset”. These phones have colour screens, native Bluetooth integration with EHS support for Plantronics devices, and gigabit networking. The GXP-2160 has 24 BLF keys, whilst the GXP-2140 can add Grandstream’s GXP-2200 expansion modules to view up to 160 lines. The GXP-2140 retails for $207.00 ex GST, the GXP-2160 at $233.00 ex GST.
3CX Announces 3CX Cloud Server RC2
3CX have released an updated release candidate for 3CX Cloud Server (previously known as 3CX Multi-Tenant). Changes include the capability of supporting up to 50 tenants on one server, and improvements in being able to upgrade licensed tenants to current service packs. For even easier installation – session border controllers are available for Windows and Raspberry Pi to translate the traffic for each tenant through one port. 3CX Cloud Server can run on Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012. The Grandstream ResellerConnect Portal
Grandstream have launched their ResellerConnect portal for resellers to sign up to. The portal allows you to receive and download current marketing information around the Grandstream products, including datasheets, documents, videos, press releases and more! The portal also provides you the capability of obtaining technical support from Grandstream. To access the portal, please visit http://resellerconnect.grandstream.com/region and select Asia Pacific as your region, and then select Sign Up. Note that you must mention Soft Solutions as your distributor for your application to be approved.
Grandstream develop 3CX v12 Templates for Gateways and Phones
Grandstream have released provisioning templates for all their current phones and gateways so they can be used with 3CX version 12, along with instructions on how these are configured. These templates are available from Grandstream’s ResellerConnect portal. However, if you need a copy of these, please let us know and we will be happy to send you the latest version.
