Yealink has released an important announcement for any customers using any of their IP Phones with 3CX PBX – they are urging them to upgrade their firmware version if outdated. If any clients are running on version XX.83.0.20, then Yealink recommends to update your devices with the latest firmware as soon as possible – the new version is XX.83.0.55. If you do not update your XX.83.0.20 firmware to XX.83.0.55 and a newer version is released in the meantime then you will have to update all your devices manually via the device’s web interface. Updating is done through the 3CX Management Console and the full instructions are available on their website here. It is important you pass this information on to your customers if you are either a Yealink or 3CX reseller.
