3CX BETA’s Underway
A number of 3CX BETA’s have been released:
- 3CX Phone System 15 SP4: Adds more features to 3CX including failover and reports with the Linux edition, plus the capability to provision FXS and DECT devices. http://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/v15-sp4-beta-program/
- 3CX Phone for iOS: New layout, allows you to take a call like native GSM calls. http://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/uc-ios-client-beta/

Note: It is not recommended that these builds are used in a production environment.
3CX Training Events in New Zealand
Thanks to Matt Carey our Technical Specialist for conducting our recent 3CX trainings in Auckland. The online examinations for 3CX v15 for Certified and Advanced Certified accreditation are expected in mid-December at: www.3cxacademy.com. We’ll be announcing training for 3CX v15 for other regions in NZ in the new year – watch this space.
Grandstream Announce the GXP1700 Series
Grandstream’s mid-range IP phones are ideal the for growing businesses with a high-end, sleek design and mid-range capacity. The GXP1760 supports 6 lines and 3 SIP accounts with 24 BLF keys and 10/100Mbps ports. The GXP1780 and GXP1782 supports 8 lines, 4 SIP accounts and includes 32 digitally programmable BLF/speed-dial keys. The GXP1782 offers dual Gigabit ports to support up to 1000Mbps connections speeds while the GXP1780 offers dual 10/100Mbps ports. The GXP1760 is expected to retail at $126 plus GST, the GXP1780 at $131 plus GST, the GXP1782 at $137 ex GST. We hope to have stock of the GXP1782 next month. 3CX to Reward Partners with a free reusable license of 3CX
3CX will be offering a free 4-SC 1-year license of 3CX Phone System to those partners who have Silver, Gold and Platinum partner status in January 2017. The partner program will also be changing slightly, with partner levels changing to:
- 3CX Affiliate: 1 license sale per 12 months
- 3CX Bronze Partner: 2 points per quarter
- 3CX Silver Partner: 4 points per quarter
- 3CX Gold Partner: 8 points per quarter
- 3CX Platinum Partner: 20 points per quarter

3CX v14 Multi-Tenant Retires
As 3CX is now available for Linux, you now have the capability of creating single virtualised instances without the operating costs associated with running on Windows. 3CX have released more information around this and a guide for partners to be able to migrate from v14 Multi-Tenant to version 15.
