The path to MSSP

‘Managed Service Providers’ and ‘Managed Security Service Providers’. They sound similar but the focus is very different. Deviating from the concept of just managing and maintaining the operating integrity of their client’s site, MSSP’s concentrate their efforts on making sure that their client’s infrastructure and data is secure, providing risk/ vulnerability management as well as identity and access management. With ongoing large scale threats and data breaches the requirement for MSSP’s is rapidly growing. SolarWinds MSP have recently released a white paper on the topic. Called ‘The Path to MSSP’ the paper covers what an MSSP is, end user opinions on managing security inhouse and who would be migrating to an MSSP and the benefits of the model. It is defintely a worthwhile read. If you have any questions please feel free to contact SolarWinds MSP Team.
