End of support for VIPRE-based Managed Antivirus
N-able is retiring VIPRE-based Managed Antivirus on June 27th, 2022. For partners still using the VIPRE option, we recommend upgrading to N-able EDR or switching to the Bitdefender-based Managed Antivirus engine.
N-able EDR is a next generation AV tool. It detects and responds to threats via a signatureless approach. It uses behavioural AI engines to identify threats and determines the appropriate response. Check its capabilities here.
Swapping to Bitdefender will offer additional policy options, including Apple macOS support and disk encryption, as well as frequent engine upgrades. Switching can be done using a migrate option. For a step-by-step guide click here. Read the full notification and learn more here.
