Grandstream once again redefines the price point on IP phones. The new GXP2140 and GXP2160 come with built-in Bluetooth and EHS wireless headset support, plus they have colour screens, gigabit ethernet pass-though, and USB – so you can plug in your coffee warmer or desk light, or a charging adapter for a headset.

Both the GXP2140 and GXP2160 feature a 4.3” 480 x 272 TFT colour LCD screen, 5 programmable soft keys, HD audio quality on handset and speakerphone, 5-way conference, dual Gigabit network ports with PoE, integrated Bluetooth and USB. The phones have a new ergonomically-designed handset and user-friendly key design/placement. Additionally, the GXP2140 supports 4 lines, up to 4 SIP accounts, and up to 4 GXP2200 cascaded extension modules with LCD display. The GXP2160 supports 6 lines, up to 6 SIP accounts, and has 24 programmable BLF extension keys.

The GXP2140 and GXP2160 support a number of advanced productivity features such as phonebook exchange/synch-up between the GXP Phones and mobile phones, call & phone operation via Bluetooth headsets from several meters away, easy call transfers between the new GXP Phones and an iPhone or Android mobile phone, automated local weather forecast, and many more.

For all these features you’d expect to pay almost $400 ex GST from other leading brands – and if the bluetooth and EHS features were available at all, they would probably be extra-cost options. But not from Grandstream. The GXP2140 retails for $207 ex GST and the GXP2160 retails for $233 ex GST
